Unit 1: Introduction
The focus of unit 1 is to introduce students to the purpose and content of this course. It begins with shop safety and an overview of tools to be used. Then, a brief introduction of each unit and their tasks. Emphasis should be on the design and build challenges to promote student engagement and desire to learn content of course. Students will develop their observation an communication skills in the first few activities.
